A 16-year-old Bristow girl was arrested and charged with sexual battery Tuesday at a home for at-risk adolescents, police say.
Authorities say that a 17-year-old female resident at Youth for Tomorrow, at 11863 Hazel Circle Dr. in Bristow, reported being assaulted by the suspect just after 7:30 p.m. She told staff about the incident, who then contacted police.
The suspect was charged with aggravated sexual battery and object sexual penetration.
Youth for Tomorrow is a residential campus for at-risk teenagers. Former Washington Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs is the co-founder and chairman of the program.
The suspect is being held at a juvenile detention facility.
