A Herndon man is in custody after trying to lure a 16-year-old boy into his car in Sterling.
Jose Mejia-Ulloa, 41, is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Sunday night, Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 45500 block of East Severn Road for a report of female in a vehicle that approached a boy and attempted to get him into a car. Upon arrival, the teen gave deputies the suspect's description. Later, deputies saw a person matching that description and initiated a traffic stop, during which they discovered the woman driving the vehicle was really a man dressing in female’s clothing.
