Man accusing Prince George's police of brutality
June 22, 2011 - 06:18 pm
An employee of a Laurel business say he is the victim of police brutality.
Police were asked to go by Tire World on Baltimore Avenue after a complaint from a customer.
Derrick Thomas, an employee at Tire World, said an officer threw him onto a vehicle so hard the car’s roof was dented.
“He picked me up by the collar,” Thomas said. “And my head snapped back.”
He said the Prince George’s County police officer refused to give information, including his badge number Tire World’s store manager witnessed the alleged assault.
Prince George’s County police have not responded to ABC7’s inquiry.
