Man in wheelchair struck by truck in NW

D.C. Fire reports a man in a wheelchair was struck by a truck near Vermont and I streets in Northwest.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
