Man shot near Washington Convention Center

D.C. police are investigating a shooting outside of the Washington Convention Center in Northwest.

Police say a man was shot several times near the intersection of 7th and L streets early Monday morning. He was taken to a local hospital. No word on his condition.
A lookout has been issued for two black males.
No further details were immediately available.
