Marco Antonio Martinez Mejia charged with having sex with minor

A Stafford man is facing charges that he had sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Marco Antonio Martinez Mejia, 34, has been charged with four counts of carnal knowledge, four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of using electronic means to solicit a minor.
Authorities learned that Mejia allegedly had sex with the minor and then assumed the role of the alleged victim online and contacted the defendant. Authorities then ensnared Mejia in a sting while posing online as the 13-year-old girl, according to police.
