A College Park woman pleaded guilty to stealing more than $95,000 from a D.C. non-profit dedicated to preventing war.
Kimberly Nicely, 49, pleaded guilty to a federal wire fraud charge from The Fund for Peace. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 24 and faces up to 18 months behind bars.
Nicely was hired to the non-profit in 2005 as an independent contractor. She is accused of diverting money from the non-profit’s bank accounts into her own.
