Multiple-car accident injures 3, closes East West Highway in Chevy Chase

A multiple-car accident in Chevy Chase has injured three people and blocked traffic on East West Highway (MD 410).
The three people have been taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, a Montgomery County Fire spokesperson says.
Traffic was blocked in both directions on East West Highway between Beach Drive and Connecticut Avenue and there were westbound delays near Grubb Road.
The accident occurred about 7:15 a.m.
