New fireworks-related injury, death data to be released

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is expected to release new fireworks injury and death data Wednesday morning.

Chairman Inez Tenenbaum, along with federal partners in fireworks enforcement, are scheduled to attend a press conference on the National Mall.

During the event, officials will caution consumers to beware of possible dangers of fireworks.
