LINTHICUM, Md. (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is scheduled to attend a Maryland Republican Party fundraiser.
The party's Red, White and Blue Dinner is being held Thursday evening at the BWI Marriott.
Tickets range from $200 for the general reception and dinner to $10,000 to be a gold sponsor.
On Wednesday, the former speaker of the House of Representatives brushed aside the significance of continuing departures of staff from his presidential campaign. Earlier this week, Gingrich's campaign confirmed that its top fundraisers had left. Sixteen advisers and staff walked away earlier this month.
