For the second time in two days, NORAD reports that small private aircraft have been intercepted in restricted airspace.

Two Coast Guard helicopters intercepted a small private airplane that had entered restricted airspace in the vicinity of the National Capital Region Monday morning.

A statement from North American Aerospace Defense Command says the civilian aircraft, was visually identified by the helicopter crews and permitted to continue to its destination. No further information was released about this incident.

Saturday, two F-15 fighters were scrambled to and intercepted a small plane which flew within 11 miles of Camp David.

NORAD says that the civilian aircraft, a Beechcraft Bonanza, was escorted out of the area and landed in Hagerstown without incident.

The plane was out of radio communication, officials say.

President Barack Obama and his family were spending at least one night at the retreat near Frederick over the weekend.
