FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - Police are charging a Frederick man with leading officers on a high-speed chase for miles on Interstate-270.
Frederick Police say an officer tried to pull over 26-year-old Bryant Helon McMillan Jr. about 12:40 a.m. Saturday for failing to stop for a red light. Instead, the 1993 Lexus sped off on U.S. 15 and southbound I-270.
Maryland State Police eventually joined the chase. A police report says McMillan stopped when it was clear he couldn't elude the officers.
Police say McMillan had an open warrant in Montgomery County and a suspended driver's license.
McMillan faces multiple charges, including fleeing and eluding police and reckless driving.
