Ramona Gray sentenced to 25 years

A woman was sentenced to 25 years behind bars for fatally stabbing another woman over a man in SE D.C.

Ramona Gray, 31, had previously pleaded guilty in January in D.C. Superior Court to second degree murder while armed for killing Shemese Grant, 31.

Authorities said Gray killed Grant because the victim was in a relationship with an ex-boyfriend. The august slaying came about a year after Gray was placed on probation for setting fire to the home of a family member of the same ex-boyfriend.
