June 10, 2011 - 04:49 pm
A Gainesville man faces multiple charges after a road rage incident Friday morning on I-66 near exit 48 in Prince William County.
Michael C. Edwards, 36, of Gainesville, is charged with reckless driving, destruction of property, and misdemeanor assault and battery.
Authorities said Edwards was driving a motorcycle in traffic and, when passing a Honda, swiped the side of it. Both vehicles pulled over and Edwards smashed the side of the Honda with his helmet.
