Ruptured water main creates geyser on I-395

An overnight water main break sent water gushing onto Interstate 395 in Alexandria.

Authorities say the break happened on the 34th Street Bridge over I-395.

Three lanes of the highway were closed while crews repaired the ruptured main.

Those lanes have since reopened.

There’s no word how many people were affected.
