Southeast fire injures 3

It’s still unclear what caused a two-alarm fire in Southeast that left three people injured, including a firefighter.

Flames broke out on the second and third floors of a building, located at 5105 F Street, Sunday night.

Officials say two people were rescued from the building and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. No word on their conditions. A firefighter also suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Damage is estimated at $50,000.
