Transportation officials to host public meetings on I-66 study
Transportation officials will host two public meetings to allow citizens to give input on ways to improve Interstate 66 outside of the Beltway.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) are holding the meetings as part of a study to identify transportation needs within the I-66 corridor and evaluate the relating improvements.
The first meeting will be held on June 8, between 5 and 8 p.m., at the Four Points by Sheraton at 10800 Vandor Lane in Manassas, Va.
The second meeting is scheduled for June 9 at the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Northern Virginia District Office, located at 4975 Alliance Drive in Fairfax, Va.
The study is scheduled for completion in late 2012.
