RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia's Department of Motor Vehicles service centers will display urgent notifications of missing or abducted children.
The DMV on Monday announced a partnership with Virginia's Amber Alert system to post the messages on monitors at its 74 customer service centers. Similar alerts already are in place at DMV offices for missing senior citizens.
DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb tells WVEC-TV about 19,000 customers visit the service centers daily.
