Va. lanes to open for July 4 weekend

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The Virginia Department of Transportation plans to open temporarily closed lanes on major roadways for the Fourth of July weekend.
Lanes that have been temporarily shut down for construction or maintenance will be open from noon Friday until noon Tuesday.
Long-term construction zones with concrete barriers and orange barrels will remain in place.
