June 16, 2011 - 01:40 pm
A Vienna bank was robbed for the third time since March early Thursday morning, police say.
Vienna Poilce say that a man approached the United Bank branch at 226 Maple Ave. at about 8 a.m. as employees were unlocking the doors.
The suspect, described as a tan-skinned male wearing a tan blazer and dark pants, forced an employee inside and demanded money. No one was injured, but the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The same branch of United Bank was also robbed on March 11 and April 16. Authorities do not know if the same person robbed the bank each time or if the crimes are connected.
