William Hines May arrested, caught doing drugs in car with child inside
Frederick police arrested a West Virginia man on Friday after police discovered him and a female friend with heroinwhere a child was present.
Police arrested 28-year-old Wilson Hines May, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and charged him with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities say they received a report of May and a female snorting drugs inside a Jeep SUV in a parking lot at 86 Thomas Johnson Drive in Frederick. A 4-year-old boy was in the car at the time.
Upon searching him, police found a syringe, a glass pipe and a substance believed to be marijuana. May told officers that the child belonged to his girlfriend, who was inside a nearby doctor's office.
May was arrested, the female in the car was not taken into custody and the child was returned to his mother.
