Woman arrested for resisting arrest in Arlington

A 28-year-old woman was charged with resisting arrest and other crimes after she was pulled over for an HOV violation in Arlington.
Police arrested Juanita Maxwell, of Alexandria, and charged her with resisting arrest, false summoning of law enforcement, and two summons for an HOV violation and tinted windows.
Police said she was pulled over in the 2800 block of Shirlington Road on May 31 at about 5 p.m. and she refused to comply with officers. She is accused of calling 911 and fighting with officers when they tried to take her into custody.
