Attempted armored car robbery in NW

Police are on the scene of an attempted armored car robbery on 16th Street NW in D.C.

The robbery was in the 1200 block of 16th Street NW.

Police confirmed that the blue Porche SUV used in the armed robbery was taken from a woman Wednesday night in Arlington during a carjacking.
