Charles Ryder found dead after jumping into Stony Creek

The body of a Glen Burnie, Md. man who went missing after jumping into a creek in Anne Arundel County creek was recovered Sunday.
Authorities found the body of 48-year-old Charles Ryder at about 12:30 p.m., about 17 hours after he jumped off a boat and into Stony Creek.
Multiple agencies, including the United States Coast Guard, Anne Arundel Fire and Rescue and a Baltimore City fire boat searched throughout Saturday night and resumed the search Sunday morning.
There is no immediate word as to the cause of death.
