The Dalai Lama will speak on the U.S. Capitol's West Lawn on Saturday morning in an effort to continue his message of world peace.
His speech, "A Talk for World Peace," will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Dalai Lama is in Washington for an 11-day Buddhist ritual, known as a kalachakra, drawing followers from America, Asia and Europe.
He relinquished his political power with Tibet's government-in-exile in May.
