Daughter charged with assaulting father in Herndon

A 17-year-old girl has been charged with assault, police say, after she pushed her father out the window of a Herndon home Saturday.

Herndon Police say that the victim, identified as the girl's father, suffered several severe cuts after being pushed out the window of their home in the 1000 block of Boros Court.
The victim was airlifted to Fairfax Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. Poilce expect him to survive.
