Democrats face Republicans at Nationals Park
July 14, 2011 - 05:35 am
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Democrats and the Republicans are slugging it out again in Washington, but this time it's for charity.
Senate and House members will take the field Thursday at Nationals Park for the annual Congressional baseball game. Members generally sport uniforms of teams in their home states.
The game raises money for the Washington Literacy Council and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington.
Tickets are $10.
