Deonte Bryant arrested in Caribbean festival shooting

A second arrest has been made in the homicide of Robert Foster, Jr., detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's homicide branch announced.
Deonte J. Bryant of Northwest Washington, D.C., was arrested on Tuesday. A D.C. Superior Court Warrant charges the 20-year-old with Second Degree Murder while Armed. Another man had been arrested on June 26, a day after the shooting.
Four people were shot in the June 25 incident in the 700 block of Gresham Place, NW and 700 block of Columbia Road, NW. All were taken to the hospital, where one succumbed to his injuries.
The decedent has been identified as 43 year-old Robert Foster, Jr. of Northwest, Washington.
