Fairfax County woman sexually assaulted in home with children present
A woman in the Lorton area was sexually assaulted in her home early Saturday morning, police say.
The 30-year-old woman was awakened by a man in her bedroom around 6 a.m. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim then fled the apartment, police say.
Children were in the home in the 7800 block of Lewis Chapel Circle, but they were not injured, police say. The suspect forced entry to get inside the home.
The suspect was described as black, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, dark complexion, and muscular build. He was wearing a black shirt, black pants and a mask that covered his face.
