Several injured in Watergate fire

D.C. Firefighters are battling an apartment fire on the 10th floor of the Watergate located at 2510 Virginia Avenue Northwest. Several injuries have been reported, but none of them serious.
Fire officials say flames were in one apartment. Smoke filled part of the building.
Firefighters were alerted around 10 p.m. and two alarms have been called. Fire officials say the bulk of the fire is knocked down. Emergency vehicles are blocking Virginia Avenue.
The Watergate complex is comprised of five buildings that house apartments, offices and the hotel.
