Man surrenders in Glenmont barricade incident

A man surrendered to police Tuesday after he allegedly barricaded himself inside a house.
The barricade situation was in the 12000 block of Livingston Street in Glenmont.
The situation started at about 8:45 a.m., when police received a call from someone asking to check on the welfare of an individual living in the 12300 block of Livingston Street.
When police arrived at the house, the man didn’t respond to attempts to reach him. At about 12:30 p.m., the man came out of the house and surrendered. He was taken to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation.
No one was injured during the incident.
