Man indicted for killing his daughter, 13, and wounding others

A 40-year-old man accused of killing his 13-year-old daughter was indicted by a D.C. Superior Court grand jury on 24 counts, including first degree murder.
Indicted was Robert Carter, who is accused of shooting and killing his daughter on Oct. 29, 2010 in the 500 block of Madison Street NW. During the alleged incident, he held six people hostage and shooting and wounded his girlfriend and her 11-year-old son.
After the shootings, Carter stole a vehicle and led police on a chase, authorities said.
