Prince George's County Police have arrested and charged the 60-year-old neighbor of a man who was fatally stabbed early Sunday morning in Landover with 2nd-degree murder.

Police say that the suspect, Jonathan Kelly, and the victim, 46-year-old David Smith, were both tenants in a house in the 7600 block of Oxman Road in Landover.

The two were involved in an altercation, police say, during which Kelly allegedly stabbed Smith. Police responded to the residence at about 2:40 a.m., where they found the victim dead.

Kelly is being held by the department of corrections.
