D.C. councilman Marion Barry’s son pleaded guilty Wednesday to two drug charges.
Christopher Barry, 31, pleaded guilty in the Superior Count of the District of Columbia to a felony charge of possession of PCP and a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.
Barry was arrested in May after police discovered the drugs in his apartment, and initially charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
His sentencing is set for September 27.
Barry is also scheduled to appear in landlord-tenant court Wednesday for an eviction hearing over accusations that he did not pay his rent in June.

Police arrested the younger Barry on May 28. Washington City Paper reports that police went to Barry’s apartment at Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Southwest.
Police showed up at Barry's apartment after reports of a loud argument, according to court documents. The fire department was called to gain access to the home.
Once inside, police found the council member's son at a table with a large vial of PCP and five sandwich bags of marijuana.
“I think it's unfortunate, hate to see it kind of run in the family... mistakes I guess,” said D.C. resident Jon Faber.
Court documents state Barry jumped out of a window and tried to escape, but later returned with a foot injury and was arrested.
At Effi Barry's funeral in 2007, the elder Barry said he and his son were close, but the death of their wife and mother, respectively, had brought them closer.
The elder Barry was arrested in 1990 and charged with possession of cocaine after an FBI sting caught him on video allegedly smoking crack cocaine.
