Mark Magaw sworn in as Prince George's County Police Chief after council approval

After his appointment was approved Tuesday by the county council, Mark Magaw, a 27-year veteran of the Prince George’s County Police, was sworn in as chief by Clerk of the Court Camille Exum.
Magaw has been running the department as acting chief since County Executive Rushern L. Baker III took office on December 6.
