Masked man sought in attempted bank robbery in Bowie
Prince George’s County police need your help in locating a man wanted in connection with an attempted robbery of a bank in Bowie.
The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white shirt around his face, a black long sleeve shirt, dark colored pants and shoes, and black gloves.
Authorities say an armed suspect entered the Educational System Federal Credit Union in the 4800 block of Glenn Dale Road shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and demanded cash. The suspect fled before getting any money. The person was last seen running towards a nearby wooded area.
Responding officers couldn’t locate the suspect, but found the weapon he used during the incident.
