Mongtomery County courthouse windows blind pedestrians, drivers
July 1, 2011 - 03:37 pm
Windows on the new Montgomery County Courthouse in downtown Rockville were emitting so much glare that they were blinding pedestrians and drivers and killing plants.
A tarp was put over the building to cover the windows. By September, workers will install a solar screen to the unit at a cost of $200,000.
The new courthouse is not open yet.
The windows in question are ones to judge's chambers. Despite the cover, they will still be able to see out their windows.
