National Pinball Museum staying open through Labor Day
July 2, 2011 - 11:09 am
WASHINGTON (AP) — A museum dedicated to pinball machines in Washington will not be forced to close next week as previously thought.
The National Pinball Museum had been slated to close Monday but will now be able to stay in its space in the Shops at Georgetown Park through Labor Day.
Museum founder David Silverman tells the Washington Post that he's still looking for a new location to house his collection.
Silverman opened his museum in December. It features 200 pinball machines, some of which visitors can play.
