Pamela Goins, Metro custodian fired in prostitution sting returns to work
July 18, 2011 - 07:46 am
WASHINGTON (AP) - A Metro custodian fired in 2008 after being arrested in a prostitution sting has been able to serve the transit agency as a landscaping worker.
The Washington Examiner says Metro spokesman Dan Stessel confirmed that Pamela Goins returned as a temporary worker for a landscaping company at Metro for several months last summer.
Goins worked as a custodian for Metro for six months until she and another employee were arrested in the sting in July 2008. A month later, Goins made a plea deal with prosecutors to avoid charges. Her record was cleared of the prostitution charges after completing 40 hours of community service.
