Police investigate 'assault by mob' of 18-year-old Woodbridge girl

Police are investigating an alleged assault by mob of an 18-year-old girl in Woodbridge.
Friday, at about 3:15 p.m., an 18-year-old girl of Woodbridge, reported to Prince William Police that she was in the area of Cardinal Drive and Beau Ridge Drive in Woodbridge when she was approached by three unknown female juveniles.
One of the girls punched the victim in the face, knocking her to the ground. At that point, the other two females began kicking and punching her.
The assailants then got into a vehicle and fled the area.
The victim sustained minor injuries. She was unable to provide police with a description of the assailants.
