Prince George's County officers injured in car accident

Two Prince George's County Police officers and another person were injured Sunday morning when a police cruiser and a civilian vehicle collided in Riverdale.
Police spokesman Cpl. Michael Rodriguez says that the accident took place at the intersection of Riverdale Road and 63rd Avenue at about 2 a.m.
All of the victims were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It is not known whether or not the officers were responding to a call.
