Ron Linton named D.C. Taxicab Commission chairman

WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray has named a new chairman of the Taxicab Commission.
Gray announced his selection of Ron Linton on Wednesday. Linton is a public policy planner who now consults on government relations, law enforcement and economic planning. He was chairman of the board of directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority from 1992 to 1994.
He's also worked for the Defense Department and on Capitol Hill, among other positions.
