Small plane crashes in Hollywood, Md.

One person was killed and another injured in a small plane crash near St. Mary’s Regional Airport in Hollywood, Md. Friday.

St. Mary's Fire says the plane crashed into trees between the northbound lane of Rt 235 and Mervell Dean Road in Hollywood.

Maryland State Police are investigating.
