Donald Dixon arrested in Temple Hills homicide investigation
The 50-year-old live-in boyfriend of the woman who was allegedly murdered Thursday in Temple Hills has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, Prince George's County Police say.
Officials say that 50-year-old Donald Dixon was arrested in connection with the suspected murder of Vicki Lee Griffin, 62, who was found dead on her balcony Thursday morning.
Police say that Dixon and Griffin were domestic partners and lived together at the Temple Hills apartment.
Authorities discovered Griffin after they were called to her apartment in the 4600 block of Dallas Place on a report of a gas leak. They arrived to find the apartment to have been doused in gasoline and Griffin dead on the balcony.
The death was quickly ruled to be a homicide, but police still have not released the manner in which Griffin died.
Dixon is being held without bail.
