Terrence Kerney arrested in undercover robbery sting
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) - Documents say two men are facing charges for conspiracy to commit robbery after convincing undercover agents in Virginia to use one of them as a drug supplier.
The Washington Examiner, citing charging documents filed in federal court in Alexandria, Va., reports that Terrence Kerney and an accomplice, both from Southern California, were arrested last week in Fairfax County. The documents say Kerney mailed marijuana samples to an undercover agent ranging in price from $450 to $1,400 per pound.
Authorities wired $7,000 to a bank account number, but on the day the drugs were to delivered Kerney said he had lost the money gambling.
The documents say Kerney and Steven Donovan Dixon came to Virginia to rob a drug stash house, having already discussed their plan with the undercover agents.
