Turning a Metro train into a dance party
July 6, 2011 - 05:05 pm
Thirteen guys who turned a Metro car into a club scene are quickly becoming a Youtube sensation.
The dancers, dubbed Metro Party Boys, say it was an impromptu July 4 dance-off. The group of friends, from Annandale High School, say they were out to give riders a bit of entertainment during their trip. Commuters couldn’t get enough.
Thanks to them, video of the Blue Line ride – with a soul train twist – is getting clicked by the thousands. It’s just the type of attention the teens say they’re trying to bring to their generation.
Hoping to slash stereotypes, their mission is to show they can make headlines for the right reasons.
