Two injured in separate Northeast D.C. shootings

Police are investigating two shootings in Northeast D.C. early Saturday morning.
The first incident took place near the intersection of New York Avenue and Montana Avenue NE, where D.C. police confirm that one person was shot at about 3:45 a.m. There were no immediate details on the victim's condition.
The second shooting occurred just after 5:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Saratoga Avenue NE. A victim was transported, but their condition is unknown.
