July 26, 2011 - 06:57 am
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Students who visit at least three Virginia's private colleges and universities this week can save on application fees.
The Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia is hosting its annual Virginia Private College Week for high school juniors and seniors and their families.
The program, which started Monday and ends Saturday, includes campus tours and information sessions about admissions, financial aid and academic and extracurricular activities.
The council says that if students visit three or more participating colleges, they can get waivers for three application fees.
