Water main break disrupts service in Southeast

A water main break is affecting service to about 200 homes in Southeast Washington.

The ruptured 8-inch main is located on South Carolina Avenue between 15th Street and Kentucky Avenue.

Crews are working to repair the break, but it could take up to 10 hours for service to be restored.

Traffic in the area does not appear to be affected.
