Water main breaks in NE D.C.

D.C. water is reporting a water main has broken in NE D.C. and will be out of service for at least eight hours.

The eight inch water main broke at 62nd Street NE between Foote and Dix streets.

Five apartment buildings, three homes and one hydrant are affected.
